Brandon Crisp- Video Game Addiction?

Recently, this 15 year old boy got an addiction onto a video game called "Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare" on XBOX360.

After reading this article, I began to think about how technology plays a role in my life. A lot of my free time is spent on computer. Even though it is spent a lot on the computer, it doesn't not necessarily affect my life in a negative way. Meaning, it does not cause any issuses. Also, after reading this, I began to think about how many parents worldwide are blaming videogames for kid's addictions, such as this one. I think this is completely untrue. First of all, Call of duty is rated M for mature, 17+ year olds. Meaning, it was the parent's fault for buying it for his son. Nowadays, they don't let kids buy video games rated M or AO, without a proper ID. When I tried to buy the Orange Box at EB Games, they refused to sell it to me, >:(.

My parents usually just tell me to spend less time on the computer, but my marks in school is adequate or above average, so its' not a great issue.

This is my opinion on this article, video games, and how it affects my life.
